This year's focus was on systems based on electron beam and ion beam optics. These complex opto-mechatronics systems with great resolving power are used in multiple applications, like electron-microscopes, electron or ion beam lithography systems and tools for picometer level ion beam figuring.

Optomechatronics-2024-webpWe had the pleasure of participating the Opto-mechatronic Symposium, held at Mikrocentrum, Veldhoven (NL). The symposium brings together experts from across industries to discuss the latest innovations in optics, mechatronics, and precision engineering, making it a key event for anyone working in these fields. Our participation underscored our growing connection with this sector, particularly in offering advanced qualification of modules for electron microscopy.

Electron microscopy requires extreme precision, and the ability to align the beam accurately is crucial for obtaining high-resolution images. This is where our expertise comes in — we provide qualification systems that ensure the modules used in electron microscopy meet the highest standards. Our technology helps achieve the precise alignment necessary to optimize beam performance, leading to better imaging and more reliable results.

We are excited about the opportunities in this field and look forward to contributing further to innovations in optomechatronics!
