Dr. Henny Spaan new chairman of VDMA EMINT Board

The members represent four of the most innovative sub-sectors of mechanical engineering and benefit sustainably from the exchange of experience. As an innovation and networking platform, the EMINT association bundles knowledge for the member companies, whose know-how significantly drives innovation. Together they address relevant future topics such as autonomous driving, renewable energies, electromobility and microtechnologies.

The EMINT Board is made up of representatives from the member companies of the four sector groups Battery Production, Micro Technologies, Photovoltaics Equipment and Productronics. Dr. Henny Spaan was elected as the new Chairman.

At the last meeting of the Board of Directors in June 2024, the EMINT Board of Directors underwent some changes in the last year of its four-year term of office. Board members Dr. Joachim Döhner/KUKA Systems AG (retirement), Axel Bartmann/formerly Manz AG (company change), Wolf Erdmann/formerly IPTE Germany GmbH (company change) and Dr. Joachim Heck/Ehrfeld Mikrotechnik AG (retirement) were bid farewell by EMINT Managing Director Thilo Brückner with thanks for their great commitment. Dr. Henny Spaan/IBS Precision Engineering was elected as the new Chairman to succeed Dr. Döhner. Professor Dr. Peter Fath /RCT Solutions GmbH was elected as the new Deputy Chairman. Dr. Marc Schöneich/INNOCISE GmbH was co-opted as a new member of the Executive Board. Stephan Eirich/Maschinenfabrik Gustav Eirich is the new Chairman of the Board of Directors for Battery Production.

In accordance with the Articles of Association, new elections will be held next year after four years.
