Henny started IBS in 1993 whilst completing his PhD in Precision Engineering. He holds several patents in the field and and is active in standardization within ISO. A former ASPE board member and euspen President, he is currently serving on the VDMA – EMINT board. In 2013 he received the Rien Koster Award for his significant contribution to the field of mechatronics and precision technology in the Netherlands.
Following a career at Cambridge University, Toshiba Research Europe and defence experts QinetiQ, Theresa served as CEO of the European Society for Precision Engineering and Nanotechnology until 2011. She led the international team of national metrology institutes defining a common European Strategy for Nanometrology 2020. With a master’s in Global Business from Oxford University, she is responsible at IBS for the development and deployment of next generation technology and products.
After receiving his bachelor degree in mechanical engineering, Dirk started his career at high-tech injection moulds company, Axxicon, producing high-end moulds for medical, optical and data storage industry. In 2004 he joined IBS. As Sales Engineer and then Account Manager, Benelux he has managed a spectrum of ground breaking engineering projects, from Big Science to Next Generation Semiconductor Technology. As of 2018, Dirk is responsible for IBS sales worldwide including agents in Europe, Asia and USA.
Peter started his career with a masters in electronics, specialising in modeling and control of complex dynamic mechatronic systems. From Systems Architect and Project Leader for Philips Lighting, he moved on to Engineering Program Manager in new display technologies at Liquivista. As Commercial Manager for Yacht he headed up business units Industrial Engineering and System, Test & Release. Peter is responsible for maintaining a world-class engineering team at IBS.

Our quality management system and the application thereof complies with the requirements as stipulated in the standard: NEN-EN-ISO 9001:2015. Evaluation of the quality management system takes place in accordance with TÜV Nederland’s certification regulations for the field of application: the development, sales, engineering, production and assembly of ultra-precision metrology systems, modules and machines.
