INDUCTIVE MEASURING SYSTEMS
Inductive displacement measuring systems, also called Eddy-current measuring systems) are non-contact devices capable of high-resolution measurement of the position and/or change of position of any conductive target. These systems are also called Eddy-Current systems.High resolution and tolerance of dirty environments make inductive measuring systems indispensable in today's modern industrial operations.
Advantages of inductive (Eddy Current) measuring systems
- Non-contact
- High bandwidth up to 80 kHz
- Low noise level
- Nanometer resolution
- Great linearity
- Low temperature coefficient
- Insensitive to humidity and environmental contamination
- Vacuum compatible
- Modular sensor concept
System / driver options:
Choose a system below for more information and range/resolution specifications:
ECL101 - Wide bandwidth system*
ECA101 - Basic non linear system
ECD140 - Eddy-current system for CompactRIO/LabVIEW (NI)
* We also offer the ECL110, which is a multi-channel, OEM version of the ECL101. The ECL110 has no enclosure, is powered by a single power connection, and can have 1-8 channels internally synchronized with no need to for external sync cables. Please contact us for more information
